I am selling 6 fertile Eggs from my huge Brahma hens. They’re from show quality stock and are bred selectively for their huge size, quality feathered legs and their very placid nature. Colours are Gold Partridge and Isabella.
Brahmas are the world’s largest chicken breed.
You won’t get bigger chickens than these guys. My cockerels are over 2.5 feet high and weigh between 7-8 kg.
Brahmas are a very calm, gentle breed. They are selective feeders so cause very little damage to gardens. They’re very cuddly and are ideal pets for children, even the cockerels love to be picked up and cuddled.
Being such large birds they do need a lot of space, a converted garden shed is ideal.
My breeding stock is all fully vaccinated. This is very important when buying eggs as some diseases are transmitted through the eggs.
I offer a full fertility guarantee, something that very few, if any other sellers do.
Candle your eggs before day 12 of incubation and any eggs that are found to be infertile or not developing properly will be refunded ( or replaced if postage is paid) as long as a photo is taken of the egg/eggs cracked open and showing the identification mark.
THIS IS NOT A HATCHING GUARANTEE as there are many other factors to guarantee a successful hatch ( eg incubator type, temperature fluctuations etc).
Eggs are candled to check for cracks etc before being posted. They are packed very carefully; individually wrapped in soft tissue paper, placed in a polystyrene egg box, wrapped twice in packing foam then finally placed in a cardboard box.
Eggs are very fresh, never older than 3 days old and usually picked and packed the same day.
On receipt of eggs please place ‘pointy’ side down for 24 hours at room temp before incubating. I also send a comprehensive guide to how to hatch the eggs.
